Youth Entrepreneurship In The Social and Solidarity Economy

Coordinated by : Youth committee of the Chantier de l’économie sociale

The importance of the place youth occupy on the job market and more broadly, the recognition of their role as economic and social actors are common issues all over the world. Collective entrepreneurship takes collective responsibility for local needs while creating jobs and ensuring the longevity of the economic, social and cultural vitality of communities. How can existing public institutions and existing economic networks support job creation among youth through collective entrepreneurship? This working group wishes to illustrate the advantages of collective entrepreneurship as a lever for job creation and community development and foster dialogue between entrepreneurs and economic actors to remove obstacles that may remain in the way of the large-scale adoption of this model.
