Positioning SSE in the United Nations 2030 Agenda

Position The SSE In the UN’s 2030 Agenda

Coordinated by : GSEF

At the Sustainable Development Summit in September 2015, UN member states adopted a new sustainable development program that includes a total of 17 global goals to eradicate poverty, fight against inequality and injustice and tackle climate change by 2030. This working group invites institutions and international networks to reflect on why and how to position the SSE as a measurement tool and lever to ensure the success of the UN’s 2030 agenda, on the main challenges of doing so and on the collaborations necessary to achieve this.
