Description
Dubbed village-monde [global village] by the French revue Le Monde diplomatique in 2006, Saint-Camille was put on the map due to the ingenuity of its inhabitants and community organizations, who successfully met the challenges of the rural context through collective entrepreneurship. This one-day tour will visit six social economy enterprises that have contributed to the impressive revitalization of St-Camille and made it a welcoming and stimulating place to live. You will have an opportunity to learn how this community’s innovative projects have made it a model community in Quebec and internationally.
